Clutch Adjustment, How Often?

I was wondering how often your clutch should require adjustment? I have a new clutch and all accompaninig components with a new cable.
I have about 3K miles on them since the installation and I have had to make minor adjustments 2 times.. On the way to work today it feels like I need to do it again.. whats up??

It's a SACH's Power clutch, Kevlar, Carbon fiber, Titanium

Please advise

Your cable may be stretching a little or your clutch fork may be breaking. My car recently had similar symptoms. I went to change the clutch cable and would adjust it and then it would go out as soon as I pushed the pedal.

This is fairly common. The clutch fork is proibably cracked and bending and needs to be replaced. Unfortunately this means an engine R&R

We got a new clutch & cable not too long ago and have had it readjusted twice. Currently...it works great. Good luck.

Hi Sarah... was it a stock clutch?? I never had this problem in the past with stock clutches, I'm begining to wonder if it's the Puck clutch phenomenon...or something.. I don't know

I'll check tonight and see what type was installed and email you. Our 930 has just over 50,000 miles on it, and I don't know if the clutch was ever replaced before. When we got it...the clutch pedal would stick to the floor & then spring back out at you very unpredictably. The cable was way stretched out. It was amazing how smooth the 930 drove after things were replaced and the adjustments were done.
