My understanding is that only "3" 1989 speedsters were ordered from the factory with the slantnose option. I have a conversion done this way and love it.

Your car is Freakin Beautiful. I saw you in traffic a while back. My starring must have pissed you off because it looked like you flipped me off as you pulled away. No hard feelings though you must get tired of all the gawkers and wanna see's.

In the day this was a popular conversion for the Anziano "Bad Boys" shop.

Kevin,
There are so many great Porsches in LA that I don’t notice people looking. I’ve been on the receiving end of a few fingers in the car usually taking a fast corner. ![]() Shawn |

I'm surprised to say, but that looks great. Nice car.
I go back and forth between liking and not liking slant nose cars.

Two different tires on the front and back can be crazy...

Steve,
You have a good eye. The previous owner replaced only the front tires with a pair of Yokohama S306s. I wanted to replace the rear tires but S306 were unavailable so I bought the Yokohama ES100. The smart move is to replace the fronts with ES100 even though the current ones have plenty of tread. Better yet I should get four new Bridgestone Potenza S-03 Pole Position tires. Shawn |

Middle, Driver side brake vent fin is crooked. Are they metal or resin?

Rick,
Your eye is even better than Steve’s. The slantnose kit is factory steel parts but the fins are resin. Were the factory fins metal (certain years)? The screws that hold the middle fin needs a little adjustment. Shawn |

As far a s I know the later factory fins were resin. But they may have been steel early on.
Question: Do you have one central motor to operate the headlights (Ala 924/944) or a motor for each side?
