Swap meet in California
Has anyone been to the swap meet march 2nd in the Phoenix centre .may change my flight for the 5 th to 1st March if it is worth my time. Is it like Hershey on the east coast? thanks.

You must attend, I been to Hershey too, but the one in Anaheim is excellent in that many more vendors and cars then Hershey. I would say Hershey last year in 2013 had a great swap meet....better then Anaheim in 2013.
But again Anaheim is nice to see all the longhood cars and 356 cars. Do not confuse the show with the Porsche Literature show on Saturday at the Hilton. This show is sponsored by the 356 Registry at the German Club in Anaheim. |

That swap meet is the evolution of what was the 356 club's swap meet at Dunkle Brothers in Anaheim. About the best Porsche swap meet around.

Sunday March 2nd. 8am gate opens.
Folks line up around 6:30 to 7am to park inside. ($20.00) Walk-ins are $10.00 I think. Great show and swap! |

Guys, come on, don't forget. There's FOUR DAYS of PORSCHE MADNESS and the swap is just the final event! Google LA Lit meet and feast your eyes on plethora of all that is Porsche that will be going on.....The open houses, the cars! I'll be trucking over from AZ with my 911. Anyone interested in getting together for a drive that weekend?

Where exactly is this swap meet? Phoenix Centre is coming up as a drug rehab place.....fitting, but I don't think that's right.

Just north of the Honda Center (or Arrowhead Pond). Off the 57 at Ball, turn East, and right on the first street (Dodge Dealer). Lots of Beautiful cars, and booths by Pelican, Stoddard, Sierra Madre, Carb Restoration, Harvey Weidman and many others. Best part of the show last year was when Wayne Dempsey fired up his 962. What an amazing car.

I'll be displaying at both events...Weber, Solex, Zenith, MFI and Zeber.
