What Paint For Trunk Area?

I am in the process of stripping/painting the inside of my trunk compartment and was wondering if anyone could offer a nice rust inhibiting paint for the job?

I thought about purchasing some of the spray-on or paint on bed liner stuff and giving it a try. Anyone have any other suggestions?

Bill

Cool

if you have rusted areas I would use Por-15 as a base coat..other than that check out what your body shop supplier has in the zinc area...........Ron

I have a little surface rust. Not bad at all though. I think it was caused by a bad trunk seal. I am going to install a new seal after I prep and paint the trunk. Thanks for the input!

I have used both POR 15 and Hammerite smooth on my car. Completly different paints although both tout application over limited prep. The POR 15 is icrediblily hard and shiney. the Hammerite is less shiney, takes forever to cure, but can be exposed to the sun. Both flow well making them fairly easy to handle. Due to POR 15's high cost, I used it directly over rusted areas and did the trunks, engine bay, interior and the entire bottom with Hammerite.
