Suspension creaks
I think my next projekt will be the suspension on my 911. Before I go spend a couple grand on components though I wanted to run this by the braintrust.
I note creaking/squeaking when I go over bumps or potholes but can't get the same noise when I manually push down on the rear end. I think the suspension was done back in the 90s with plastic bushings but can't be sure as there are no records from that time. Does the lack of creak with pushing down go against the issue being bushings or no?

We can't replicate that squeaking with the old push and unload - we just can't put the same upward/sideload on the car, so that is not a test.
Suspension upgrade will transform your car. Done correctly, with lowering and a full alignment and corner balance, you start to feel all four corners of your car and, with fresh tires, you are in heaven! I would plan on a "While I am in there" project, and begin by laying everything into an Excel spreadsheet, which someone on this 'Board certainly has created and you (we) might draw on.
