we all get a stupid question….cross over pipe?
I have early cars, what is a lower crossover oil pipe, are they added to cars without them, are they only on later years…..and I have done my searches so everybody must be smarter than me.

I believe you are referring to the part that connects the two heat exchangers for the exhaust system.

I think it is the PINK one..just like this diagram shows. you DO have a pink pipe under there, right? ; )

#15 in above drawing would be the crossover pipe for early year cars.

#15 in the diagram above. Crosses over from the left side of the engine to the right. Its used with SSIs or headers in order to clear the exhaust.
