3,1 engine weber 40

I have a 3,1 engine project:

70.4 crank
97 mm JE 9.5 cr pistons
3,2 heads
twin plug vs single plug
S cam vs dc 80cam

I would like to know if I can use weber 40carbs for this engine. hopefully it is not too small for the engine.

IMO it will depend on your intended use. For a street or AX motor you will be better off with the 40s. However, depending on your cam choice and exhaust you could possibly gain some HP with the 46s.

You need 46's for that application.
