85 Targa Center air vent
Can someone tell me what's involved in replacing one of these? Mine has seen better days.

I had to replace mine as all the louvers had come out. I bought a new unit but could not remove the old one. What I did was to remove the two louver units(not the individual louvers but the whole louver unit, there are two) by inserting a small flat screwdriver on one side and very gently pry. The side of the unit flexes and they come right out. They have a post on each side that pops int corresponding holes. Very easy and only took about 2 minutes. A suggestion is when you have the two units out, turn your A/C blower on high to blow out ant old louvers that have dropped down in the vent.
