Getting ready to dig in - 1973.5 911T Targa

I picked up my T targa a few months ago. It's in the shop to go back to bare metal and then its original 8383 Metallic Green. The passenger seat looks solid but tired but the driver's seat has a big tear, as does one of the rear seats. Any suggestions on where I should get new seat upholstery covers and pads?

maybe try World Upholstery??

I would change both seats to a nice fabric (best for hot or cold weather) or to leather

kill those sugar scoops too

it should look really nice when back in its original green

I found this car on Craigslist on a whim. Last fall, I sold my 996 turbo and thought I would be Porscheless for a couple of years.

Well, that didn't work out - I held out about a month before I found this car on Craigslist when it was posted around 6 pm on a weekday. Immediately called my buddy, asked him to put his dinner down because I would take him to Chez MickeyDs on the way up north in Michigan, so we could check out the car. We got there around 10 pm, and the car was in the proverbial barn. The seller said he had fielded 20 calls in a few hours and was already tired of taking calls on the car. We checked the car out and took it for a hard drive - it ran strong and I bought it on the spot.

(I know no PPI, but I would like to think that every rule has exceptions. . . )

John
