ROW into CA
 

I'm sure this has been asked before, but is it possible to bring a ROW car into southern CA and hope to get it to pass Smog? Car has aftermarket SS exhaust but is not a US car so no cat or other US equipment, although I believe it was Federalized when it was imported.

I believe that it is pretty hopeless to get a later than 1975 Porsche legally smogged in California. Smog is primarily a state issue. You probably would have to install all the legal California smog equipment, including stock muffler. Could be prohibitively expensive.
