Affixing 911SC badge (story)

Awhile ago, I posted about taking off my Carrera script and putting on the correct 911SC badge. A few mentioned that they wanted to know how I affixed the new one, hence this post.

I visited my local car paint and exterior supplies store and they said the best stuff to use is a product called Fusor 710 made by a company called Lord. It's basically a really strong, double-sided tape that I applied to the back of the badge and then stuck the badge on the car. It works great - I doubt the badge is ever going to come off (unless I chip some more paint and remove it with a screwdriver ). It is also supposed to cure over time, meaning that the badge will continue to stick better and better.

By the way, the Fusor 710 cost about $10 for a twenty foot roll, of which I used about half a foot. I suppose I'll use the rest for other various affixation needs.
