Door actuators for a Targa
I have read the post on door actuators and it reminded me that I at one time wanted to add keyless entry to my 80SC Targa. My search lead me no where. The stock door actuators have a disclaimer (Not for Targa's). Has anyone on this board done /seen/heard of an after market install for the Targa.

I looked into this last year, and basically figured it couldn't be done reasonably because you can't run wires though the doors.
The only way this would make any feasable sense is if you had the car completelytorn down, then you could get access. Either that or someone invents bluetooth door locks!  Good luck! Chuck

Ahhhh, mine's a Targa.
Door Actuators Don't know why the Targa should be any different than a Coupe. I'll admit the wiring was a bit of a pain, but certainly did not require removing the doors. Tim |
