OffTopic: Computer Question

AmericaOnline is my ISP. I've never had any trouble with AOL's built in browser. Lately when I hit the "back" button to return to a previous menu, I sometimes get the message "that page has expired". This doesn't happen every time but it is getting old...I have to close the site and than re-enter it to get back to where I was. I've been using AOL for over 10 years and this is a new problem. (I have Windows 98-SE as my operating system) I haven't changed or upgraded anything - so I don't know why this is happening. Any ideas?? Thanks

Usually when that happens to me on IE I just have to hit refresh and it fixes the problem. Don't know if it works for AOL though.

Don't have AOL. Try refresh or f5. This happens to me sometimes using msn

Might try clearing your history in internet options.

The advise above is what I'd say clean out your history and refresh, maybe re boot too!

BTW, are those 7 and 8" fuch on your 911 and are the 15" ?

Robert, Thanks for the advice. I cleareed out the history and while I was at it I deleted the 5,000 cookies and 4,000 temp. files. While snooping around I also found some Internet Explorer security settings that I changed. Not sure which one solved the problem but I am giving Robert credit because he sent me on the right track http://www.pelicanparts.com/ultimate/smile.gif

Reg: those are 7's & 8's x 16" wheels

On the same note......... What would make my computer freeze up, only on Ebay?
I need to shut the computer off to get out of it. What a pain!
Does anyone know why this would happen?

Same thing.
