internal wire inside fuel sender unit

Excuse my English. use the google translator.

Fuel sender unit: What is the material specification or the measure of the internal wiring?

I am trying to repair this unit. The inner wire was cut in 3 pedasos to disarm.
Everything else works. I need to know the diameter, size and material of this wire.

Sir do you have photo of the bottom of this sender to show and how the wire setup is,having problems with my own just now, it had been lying in tank for very a very long time and was incised in rust and old hard fuel managed to clean it up but on taking the unit apart I had noticed that one of the wires had came lose from one of the connectors at the top as it would sit in the tank and I don't have a photo to see where it would connect to ...if you have a photo showing the detail of this that would be great.

Regards Allan

Resistance wire should be available as a basic material:

https://www.google.com/#q=resistance+wire

You have to calculate what material and diameter you need for the tank fuel sender application. The total resitance for the two legs where the float moves should be close to 68.5 ohms. This is the resisatance difference between an empty and a full tank between the terminals G and 31 of the sender unit.

Thank you for your help.

Should place the multimeter in 200?
Between G and # 31: Empty = 6.8 ohm
Full =???

I found this chart. but do not know if it is right for the tank litos 62 911 T.
