N. Ohio German Auto Show

Hey Pelican Heads - anyone out there planning on attending the German Auto Show in N. Olmsted? It is scheduled for September 8. I heard last year it was pretty well attended. Hope to see you guys there - I will be in the black cabriolet SC - VS911.

I bet I will stop by. Last year had a number of interesting P-cars, BMW's & VWs. I have an '87 black coupe with 7&9's and a loud pipe. Its not a Flaumeister but an Edelbraucken.

unfortunately it has been (and is again) scheduled same day as Browns home opener. Perhaps one of these years the Browns will play away on opener or at least 4 oclock.

i'm supposed to go to cedar point that weekend, if something falls through i definately plan on being there.


north olmstead is about 10-15 minutes west of cleveland off of i-480

Last year they had over 100 cars.

I forgot that this is the Browns home opener? Now I really have a dilemma.

Take I-480 West (coming from Downtown) and exit 6A, State Route 252 and go south. ~ 2 miles. Need more info call Charlie Swift at (216) 595-0585.

...can someone give details of this again, specifiacally time? I may be looking for a 915. Any one of you on this post used Autobahn Extremist? Have begun talking to them about dumping sporto for 5 speed (maybe a new engine TOO!). Still have to be at stadium by 1PM though...

Akron here as well, I'll be halfway to Cleveland on Sunday anyway helping my dad on his house in Hinckley. Maybe I can bring him to the event and turn him to the dark side Muhahahahahaha! If I'm there I'll be driving a "Flaumeister" equiped 3.0SC powered RSR look 912 SWB

Joehahn - I have had nothing but good experience with Chris and Autobahn Extremist. He knows his stuff and is a Porsche guy first. I have been using him for about the last 5 years on two different Porsche's. Highly recommended! Reasonable and top quality work.

The show starts at 11:00, awards at 3:00.

...anyone know if there are vendor types there (ie Stoddard's swap meet)? I need some stuff. bb, any interest in coming up to swap my tranny with me...or was your way too difficult to attack? I remember you had some problems getting into gear once you got the 5 speed in?

I'l be a first timer as well as a new Porsche owner. My understanding from the guy running things is that there were over 100 cars in the three categories last year: show, street and display. And lot's more in the parking lot. Nice German lunch available also. Easy location just a few miles south of I480 2-3 miles west of Hopkins Airport. Hope to see you there.
