Porsche Crest Repaint pics!

Here's my '76 after being painted late last week. It's a bit dusty and certainly not ready to drive, but it's been cut and is awaiting assembly and for my panel guy to cut the paint again.

It's the panel shop's second attempt at getting it right. I'm pretty happy with the results so far.

Looks great Adam!

Better watch that rear view mirror for a while, the smell of fresh paint will attract bad drivers for miles...

Very nice! Shame the silly pricks painted it the wrong colour last time.

Very nice Adam,
I hope I am able to get the type of quality results you are getting.
I am going to have mine done over the winter here. Once again, the car looks great so far, can't wait to see you finished pictures.

Thanks, guys!

The car is actually a lot glossier in the flesh, as these photos show a lot of the dust that has accumulated on the car as it's been sitting in the shop. Once it's re-assembled, I'll clean it nicely and post a few "brag" shots.

George, I had to keep it skinny!

K9Handler, your car doesn't need paint, does it? It looks great in the photos!

Jim,

It's called Talbot Yellow. It's the factory original color for the car.

Here's what it looked like prior to it getting rammed in traffic and then having the panel shop botch the paintjob...

Talbot yellow is such a spunky colour.

The paint work looks really good, although I always thought Talbot yellow was just a shade lighter. I guess we will have to see it in the sun after a while.
