20 bags of Cocaine to sell - cheap!

Okay, so if that were posted on the BBS, it would be clearly illegal. So how come everyone here wants to rip off the Porsche manuals, and the PET CD? It is illegal, against the law, and will not be tolerated on this BBS.

Not only does it make us potentially liable for damages, it could threaten the existance of this BBS. Don't think that PCNA isn't watching? Guess again. I have a file-drawer full of cease-and-desist letters from them. Thankfully, relations have improved with them, and I merely get an email or two from them when they want me to change something.

If you want to engage in illegal activity, then do so elsewhere. Porsche is already on eBay's case, so take your illicit activity there. Refusal to adhere to this policy will result in immediate suspension from the BBS.

I give everyone a lot of leeway with moderation here. However, things that threaten or affect the livelihood of this BBS and/or the Pelican Enterprise will not be tolerated.

Now get back to arguing about early 'S' values...

-Wayne

Ahhh, the problems I avoid by being a computer illiterate. Not only is our cheapy computer unable to burn a CD, I wouldn't have a clue how to do it if I had the equipment...

Maybe we could debate the street value of 20 bags of cocaine (this is a technical forum, so we should call them "kilos")??

It that "concours cocaine" ??

Actually, the previous owner of my 911SC was in jail when I bought the car (bought it from a friend of his). Supposedly for dealing in coke. I haven't found any white stuff in the door panels quite yet...

You know, if Porsche simply released the tech manuals on a CDROM for $100, that'd solve the problem right away. Most of us here would gladly pay that much for the 911 series manuals.

So Wayne, how much for the cocaine? You realize trafficking this stuff can result in suspension of your business license.

Porsche doesn't give a damn about the DIY. I think the gov. makes the car manufac. print manuals. That is why they suck so bad. Porsche only wants to sell new cars and wants us to get factory service. Never

A somewhat disturbing trend for me is that soon all manufacturers will only produce service information digitally - no more paper manuals.... and if you're an independent garage, you may have to sign up with the manuf. to provide hardware and/or access to the info. If you're DIY, we may have to turn to the Bentley's, Haynes, Clymer's and other aftermarket sources to fill us in.

Me too, Jdub. My neighbor has a white Ford , about a '72, with the 300 c.i. straight six. I admire his truck and his job (he's retired).

"20 bags of Cocaine"? How goofy Wayne, it's obvious you're so not into drugs. Why not write "20 bushels of Cocaine"?

It's kilos my boy...

John,
You're obviously not a drug addict. Poseur. They're only "keys" if they're in 2.2 lb. bags. An obvious European or ROW (rest of world) trick to convert us over to the metric system. A bag can be anything except a "key". Wayne must validate with a pic showing a bag on a digital scale to let us know how much he really has.
