911 .mpg (I bought a Firewire card...)
Well, I'm grinning like an idiot, because I bought myself a Firewire card. I spent a few hours playing around with the DV editing software and then went out in the '89 (in the rain) to shoot some footage.
It's not much, but it's my 4.8mb attempt at 911 multimedia. Here's my Carrera 3.2 video in .mpg format. Probably best viewed in Media Player. I invite comments/praise/hate-mail. :D I've also got a 12mb video compilation of footage from our Melbourne Pelicans Drive Days, but I've used up all of my webspace. I've got 100mb more coming shortly (tomorrow). |
Someone give that guy in the red 911 Cabrio a roadmap. He's obviously lost :D
Very nice video. Good quality sound and picture. Oh and nice little tail slide too ;) |
A little hydroplaning, there. Very nice!

Adam! Get that thing back on the RIGHT side of the road!
Just kidding. Cool video, especially where you hang the tail out. Keep 'em coming. JFC |
Thanks, Guys.
When I get the 2.7 back from the body-shop and the weather is a lot better, I'll make a nicer one which runs for a bit longer. I've been experimenting with overlaying soundtracks. I put Basil Poledouris' "Anvil of Crom" from Conan on and the theme from "The Hunt for Red October". Both are pretty cool! Hopefully I'll have the 2.7 back this week. :D |
