Power to manual window conversion
 

I'm building an '81 SC kinda lika sorta a rs tribute (original, right?), but without the longhood. I want to go from power windows to manual. I'd like to know the difficulty level, and if anyone can provide a parts list and instructions for this? Thanks in advance.

Did you ever figure out how to do this? I'm looking to do this in my '90 964. Thanks, Russell

Hi Russell, I didn't end up doing it. I was told that I just had to swap out the regulator. I decided to just leave it power windows. I think the same would work for yours. Let me know if you want to do it. I may have a set of manual regulators. They are off an older car so I don't know if it will be an exact fit, but I could look into it for your if you like.

By the way, what are you building? Track car?

The car I'm building is just a street car that I would like to take on the track eventually. What year are your manual regulators from?
