Call me conservative, but there is nothing wrong with ordinary recirculationg BOV's. You don't gain any power from using Atmo-BOV. On the contrary, you will make your engine run too rich during shifts as long as ECU is using AMM and not MAP-sensor (which is the case with most factory ECU's). Reason for this is BOV dumping measured air overboard, air that ECU still believes is there and injecting extra fuel.

It's as much "tuning" as neon-lights underneath the car.

I love that sound. It reminds me of 935s at Lime Rock and Audi Trans am cars. I put a 993 comp. bypass valve in my car and I love it. It is not very loud but is sounds great.

Thanks

I have a TiAL BOV on my blown 3.2 Carrera. At first I found the sound quite annoying, but soon got use to it. However, I'll be fitting an air-collector device (TiAL also) that fits over the BOV which allows you to re-direct the vented air back into the intake.

It's not so bad when you have the pedal to the metal and are running through the gears fast, as it results in shorter bursts of air. However, when running through the gears "normally", the sound can be quite annoying IMO.

I listened to a few of the sound files and downloaded the first film clip (HKS Supra TT). To me they sound more like commercial trucks than powerful sportscars

However this one is really nice: http://www.pelicanparts.com/motorcity/mikkel/Files/935.MP3

I don't know if there's something wrong with the MP3 file because I had to turn up the volume a lot to be able to hear it?

If you have open air filter that is not too far away from BOV return-pipe you can hear the sound even if you are using recirculation device.
