Upraded, now do I need to adjust?

Just installed a K27 turbo and a BB intercooler and muffler on my 1986 911 turbo. My question is this: Do I need to have the fuel mixture, or timing, or anything else re-adjusted to compinsate for the added modifications?

The car seems to run great, idles a little lower and for some reason runs a little warmer than usual sitting at an idle for 10 minutes (burning off oil from hands on exhaust and charging the battery)

Thanks in advance.

I would say no, but I could be wrong. Have you driven it yet? Let us know if you notice a difference. I want to do the k27 someday.

The mods made all the difference in the world. Spools up around 3100, and it pulls much harder. I am still running stock boost, and probably going to stay away form the full 1 bar until I get a fuel enrichment system but the jury is still out on that....

IMO its always a good idea to do a dyno run with a/f ratio after any major change to a turbo car

That said, my Porsche/Kremer 930 has a similar spec (K27, huge i/cooler) and has a very safe a/f curve on 0.8bar all the way to 370hp...

ps: Installed a dual stage boost controller on saturday but yet to hook it up (will be switchable between 0.8 and 1.0bar)
