Could make a decent living this way!
If this car checks out, the new owner could probably flip it for $7-$8k. Highly motivated seller I would say.

Man, that is pretty cheap for a (fairly) low mileage `88!
I was thinking the same thing about this car: Then I noticed the mileage! It is obvious that the car needs a little TLC, but the `89 (first 5-speed) Turbo's are one of the most desireable 930's right? So, is $20k a good deal even with those high miles (assuming the car checks out OK)? Thoughts? Opinions? ![]() |

Looking at bid prices on other SC's and Carerras, this may just be where the market is right now - if ebay is any indicator of current value. Still, if the car is as good as the pics, someone got a deal.

180k on a turbo? That must be some kind of record. I'd be really worried about all the $$$$ things that were about to go wrong. Even $20 wouldn't tempt me (too much)

The Turbo engine is not a super-tough rebuild though. At 180K you'd probably need new P&Cs - not cheap...
