911S on PCH in Malibu last night?

I was driving north on PCH in Malibu last night, about 7 pm, and a long hood, LWB, 911S, that was either black or very dark blue, lowered a bit below "European" ride height, and European Collectables license plate (plate, not frame, there was no official plate).

Is that anyone here? I have to say it sounded magnificent. I'd love to know what engine is in it.
