Hi and Good Weekend,
Well had The faulte Sensors replased To Day After One went caput, Car Runs well and Reely quick on The throtal, sensitive . But on ideal The Engine Revs oserlates a Bit like when Cold , though dose Not setal down. If I blip The Pedal when war it wil Run even.
I'v cheked The turmanals, all ok there,
I can't work it out, if some One could add an Indea

You need to be more specific.
Exactly which sensor did you replace?
And confirm that you are working on the 3.2 that you have in your Garage.

The Car is a 3.2 1985 Euro. The Sensors are The two in The crackcase, To The Fly wheel. I thought I did. Sayn they are The Impuls/speed referance sensor, thats what The invoice says.

Maybe check the idle control valve (ICV). Remove and clean perhaps.
Did it run really well before you replaced the sensors?
What led you to do that? / Why did you replace the sensors?
Did it stop working well after you replaced the sensors?
give us a bigger feel for the situation beyond your current problem if you wouldn't mind please.

You could have a prob with the ICV being dirty as it tries to compensate , or you could have a bit of an air leak. Does it run better after she warms up.

Start by setting the base idle by installing the jumper and making sure the base idle is 800 rpm. Make sure the micro switch on the throttle body is set correctly.

If the idle does not drop when oil cap is removed, possible vacuum leak.

Might also want to look at the cylinder head temperature sensor. Original single wire can cause problems, newer ones are 2 wire for better gound.

if a throttle blip corrects the problem, you may want to look at a quick lubrication of the portion of the throttle linkage located at the transmission housing.

Steely, the car was running well as normal, turned it of then about 10 minutes tried to stat it, it turned over ok but would not fire up. my Porsche workshop is only about 300 meters away, got a tow. ended up that one of the sensors was toast! so replaced both. there the ones in the crank case to the fly wheel. It seems that they are called different names in different parts of the world.
