Front Condenser Hose Routing

I installed new barrier hoses, but failed to check which hose went which side of the condenser - coming from rear condenser vs headed to the drier. The fittings are the same size and Bentley does not specify, so I am guessing the condenser is just tubing and the directional flow does not matter - it can flow either way. Still, it's better to ask if you don't know.

Does the front condenser require refrigerant to flow in a specific direction or does it not matter? Thanks.

There is picture in Bentley of the front condenser on page 870-8. The quality of the picture is poor, but it appears as though the thicker hose, from the rear condenser, connects to the front fitting. I am going to go with this for now. It will be a little while before I recharge the system, so if anyone knows if this to be incorrect, please let me know. Thanks.

Yes it does matter.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1394305801.jpg

Thanks. If you don't mind me asking one quick question regarding the orientation of your front condenser. Is the word 'front' toward the actual front of the car?

I am good with everything else, just needed clarification on the inlet vs outlet on the front condenser. Thanks.

Look at the larger drawing. The rear condenser exit hose goes straight to the front condenser. The exit hose from the front condensor goes to the receiver drier. exit from receiver drier goes to expansion valve. etc. etc.

Thanks, I do understand and my hoses are routed correctly according to your drawing. My question was only regarding the front condenser and whether or not the flow within the front condenser matters. I was able to confirm with the condenser mfg that the flow within the condenser does not matter, that it is just tubes inside fins. The hoses need to be installed consistent with your drawing, but the two fittings on the front condenser are interchangeable. Thanks again for your help.
