Extra Headlight wire. Anyone know where it goes? 78 SC with picture
I took the passenger headlight out the other day and found this extra brown wire sandwiched between the mounting tab for the headlight bracket. Looking at the schematic on Pelican it looks like it should be a ground for the headlight high and low beam but they both work. Any ideas. Looks like a factory terminal on the end.

That's the ground wire for the "city light" function for the European H4s.
They are usually taped up in the harness when not used. Many with H4s will wire up their city lights by pulling over a hot connection from the parking light circuit. It should be the black wire with either a gray trace (left) or red trace (right). Cooper |

Thanks for the response. I don't have the Euro lights. So I'll just tape it to the harness. Thanks So much!
