915 Side Covers
Hi,
Looking at the WEVO site, there is a recommendation to use their side cover, or use the 915.301.311.3R. Is that the same as 915 301 311 06? It looks like that is the side cover for the 84 and 86 side cover? I have a magnesium 915 w/8;31 r and p, looking to strengthen it. Thanks for any help!

They are giving you the casting number instead of the part number. I think you have the right part number.
I don't know about Wevo's but our billet cover uses the larger 930 size carrier bearing, which increases the strength above what the billet cover itself provides. |

Thanks. The Porsche part numbers and casting numbers can be confusing. I will have a look at the Guard cover.

As with most of the aftermarket 915 side covers, the WEVO XT-100, 915 side cover uses the 930 bearing in the cover.
Available right here on Pelican, call their sales staff. Matt is correct, the casting number is the only reference you will find on the factory OE part itself. Hayden |
