Small rubber disc in door

Hi,

when I disassembled the internals of my doors I found some rubber discs on the door bottom. Per my PET, there are two per door and they are called "Gummilager" (rubber bearing ???).

I have ordered new ones, but I have no idea what they are good for or where in the door they are installed. Any idea?
