				oil tensioner oil line leak

I've just rebuilt my engine, and have an oil leak on the left side oil tensioner line that i can't seem to manage. All the parts are new. See pic below. i've checked it twice, and it is certainly snug. I've tightened it up firmly, what seems like more than enough. Given that you can't get a torque wrench on it, this is all subjective. I'm afraid to twist too hard because they are hollow parts after all, but it continues to leak. Anyone have any other techniques to make a good seal? thread locker or sealant of some kind? teflon tape? anything else? no problems on the right side of the engine BTW. | ||

Counter hold the solid line in the back. Loosen the fitting. Check that the nipple seats solidly in the fitting. You can even put a little grease on the back of the nipple to ensure the fitting doesn't grab the oil line and try to spin it. Then tighten it. Let it sit for an hour and put another little tweak of tightening on it. Should be good to go if all new parts.
