My first 911

I was going thru some old files and came upon these pictures. They are of my first 911 or rather what was left of it after we(my son and I) were rear ended several years ago. I had spent months looking for the "right" car and in a heartbeat it was gone. The best part of all of this is that my son did not get injured. That was several Porsches ago and I've enjoyed all of them.

Painful to look at!!

Yikes, that looks a bit too much like my car. Thankfully my rear-ending incident had very minimal damage. And I now have a third brake light installed!

Everyone remembers their first one! ;)

When I bought my current Targa, the first modification is made was to install a third brake light! Seems to be a necessary item these days.

That looks like what used to be a gorgeous car. Luckily my car was not hit that bad.

I am always worried about someone diving up my sixes. I don't know if it is from years and years of riding motorcycles, but ... I always leave "an out". Of course, it is easy to critique mere pictures of accidents so please forgive any sense that I am being arrogant.

I am glad no one was hurt. It looked like it was a fun car. Sorry for the loss of that car, but in a sense like you say, on to the next.

Thanks for the comments. The PO was a Dot bomber who had spent ALOT of money on the car. Full B&B exhaust, special order Fiskes, lowered, killer stereo and the list went on. I had also never seen that color before. It's all water under the bridge, but I still get angry when I think about it.
