Question Dual plug motors

when changing the spark plug wires and boots In a dual plug 911 motor, which plugs are considered intake and which are considered exhaust?

My impression is that the upper row of plugs are the intake and the lower row is exhaust.

could someone please help educate this poor soul??

Unless you have some kind of state-of-the-art ignition system that fires the twin plugs in an alternating pattern (A-B-B-A, etc. and/or staggers the timing between the two), the normal, run-of-the-mill expensive Porsche dual plug setup fires simultaneously. Because they fire at the same time, there is no relationship with either intake or exhaust functions. However, the upper spark plug is accessed through the intake valve cover area and the lower plug is accessed through the exhaust valve cover.

If you just want to attach a name to ID them, upper/lower or intake/exhaust is pretty descriptive.
