Difference between 3.0 and 3.3 Turbo case

Can anyone show me pictures of the difference between a 3.0L SC case and a Turbo 3.3 case and a 3.2 carrera case?

I'm looking to build a 3.5L out of a 3.0 case but need to know what mods to do. I'm looking at Wayne's engine building book that talks about the 3.5L out of a 3.2/3.3 case with 100mm pistons and cylinders.

From what I understand, with certain mods, my 3.0 case can handle a lot of power and there isn't much difference between the cases. Is it possible to make this 3.5L out of my 3.0L?

I tried a search, but didn't get good results.

Thanks,

-P

Early SC/Early 3.3 turbo are identical.

Late SC(mid 83) 3.3 turbo (mid 83-on) 3.2 Identical cases . no sump plate

What's the difference between the early and later cases? Just the sump? I know the intake runners are also different and the bore, obviously, but is there anything else that would stop me from making a 3.5L out of it?

Before you buy the p+c kit ask an experienced engine builder, or an experienced Porsche machine shop like Aasco, or parts house like EBS what extra machining might be required. The throw of the rods for instance may require case machining.

That's the kind of info I'm curious about. Machining the to fit the cylinders and machining the inside webbing so there is no contact with the connecting rods.

I went to the EBS Website and saw they had a 3.0/3.5 case that they sold. These guys most likely can answer my questions.

Thanks.
