What is the thread size to the oil pressure sender

I want to add a fuel pump cut off to the 3.0 that is going into my car. The CIS is being replaced with PMO carbs. I was thinking of adding a T fitting and the shut off. The engine is in the shop being reborn, so I don't have the old sender

So the idea here is that the if the oil pressure drops you can kill the fuel pump? I am a little unclear as to what the oil pressure sender has to do with the fuel pump.

The idea is if oil pressure drops, the fuel pump turns off. I'm thinking of add a T fitting at the oil sender for the cut off sensor

Depending on how you are using the car, or where you are at the time of fuel pump cut-off, you might end up with bigger problems than a damaged engine from low oil pressure (for example, in the middle of a 100+mph turn on a racetrack, or booking down a bumper to bumper, eight lane highway). . .

I'm thinking of an accident and I don't want fuel pumping all over the ground

^^^ Then you might consider using an inertia switch between the fuel pump and its power source - would be much simpler, and safer, than the low oil pressure switch idea.

I was looking in to this exact thing a while back.

Since you are in Seattle, pm me. I would like to hear more about your project. Sounds like we might be at a similar stage.
