How much was the paint? Did you have the trim anodized or painted? Who anodized them or did you buy them that way.
Nice pistons! I can't believe the dome on those. Are you going with a crank fire ignition or can you get away with stock?
Good job.

Cool

If you can't get happy with those pistons, you just aren't going to get happy!

Good luck,
David Duffield

BTW, the color is great.

Jabb,

Thanks! We're getting there!

Robert,

Haydn says that the enamel finish will never chip, so after a full season of sprints it should look just as good!

CM,

All up, the respray is setting me back $3K.

Isolon,

The window trim was painted in a matte finish. As for the dome on the JEs, John hasn't mentioned anything about a crank-fire ignition, so I'm assuming I'll be able to get away with the stock ignition.

David,

I might see if I can buy a single JE piston to put on my desk. Okay, they look sexy in a photo, but in the flesh they're something else!

Thanks everyone!

I like the color, not to dull but not flashy either...it is not the "yellow officer,...was I speeding?"

Plain fan,

It's taken awhile, but the color has finally grown on me -- it's the color only an enthusiast could fall in love with, I guess. I probably would have changed the color if my transmission had not have required a rebuild.

Lou,

Yeah, I (now) agree!

Mrdi,

Thanks!
