82 sc option group m07?
Recently purchased an 82sc. On the original window sticker there is reference to an option code M07. I have searched for this online but yet to find an answer. Anyone know what this refers to? Image attachedhttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1395245593.jpg

On my 81 the 16" wheels and Bilsteins were broken out separately on the PCNA COA. All of your "cool" options other than those are broken out separately. $2,500 seems steep in 1982 dollars for beefier shocks and 1" bigger wheels, if the case.

Just looked through the "Red Book" and Peter Morgan's Collectors Authenticity guide. Nothing.
Must be a PCNA option group where they clustered stuff together. I don't have my window sticker so I can't even see how they broke out the wheels and shocks. Do you have the Bilsteins and 16" wheels? I know 16" wheels became standard in this time window but I think it was a little later. Given your standard list of options does not mention wheels and shock, they may be buried in the M07? Also, no radio mentioned or the upgraded battery. Any other "fancy pants" options like piping on the leather? Also, javadog knows plenty. He is way better equipped to provide insight from experience alone without using a search engine but as noted in the link above, seems a bit of a mystery. |
Dont know yet, car is in transit to me. 2500 is a lot of bananas. If I wanted to call PCNA is it 1800porsche?

Any documentation coming with the car? My car was leased to four different doctors before an engineer and then me (I?)got our mitts on it. I was able to find and write/call every owner except the doc that passed away. It was a positive experience and filled in a few maintenance gaps. Good luck with the car and stay in touch. |
