69 911T Dash Speaker Cover
Did Porsche use different size speaker covers for different years? Tweeks sells one that covers multiple years, indicating one size. However just bought one on eBay that looks identical to mine, but is longer & narrower. The dimensions are 4 1/2 x 10. Someone else had one for a 911 up on eBay, and I asked him for the dimensions..replied 4 1/2 x 10..different guy, too. The fastening stud placement is different also, and they're threaded for a nut, instead of the push in clips.
Anyone have any ideas? And if this isn't a 911 cover, what is it for? Thanks, Dave |

As far as I know, 69-73 dashes were the same. 1968 was a unique year, a stand alone for the dash...perhaps you've come across one of those?
