Please identify this switch, and how to install??
How does this switch install? I believe it has to do with the heater levers in the center console of my '79 911SC.
I've looked at the wiring diagram and can't find the particular switch, but it has to go with either the parking brake (though I think that is a brown wire) or the heater levers... The two small "switches" are the same spacing as the two levers, I just can't see (or recall) how it mounts..or what it does.. Thanks. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1395374904.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1395374994.jpg |
That switch is for the heater blower in the engine bay. If any one of the two contacts is closed by lifting one of the heater levers, it provides a ground path for the motor. Sorry, I have no picture. Search for heater blower switch.

Manfred,
Thanks, that helps. Still, hopefully someone will provide a photo of it in the correct install position. I'll try again to day to figure it out.. It will probably be obvious once I see the correct position! Rob |
No one has a photo of this switch installed?

Great thanks!! Can you tell me how it actually attaches? There are no screw holes, etc...
Thanks again.... Rob |
Looks like it just slides down from the top.
