Looking for plug wire #5

Hello , I need your help. I was changing my spark plugs last night and when I got to #5 yellow/green powder fell out of the boot. Inside the plug boot was yellowish corrosion .. what would cause this to only be on th e#5 boot. Car has a miss or a little rough running issue, I wounder if this is it.
If any one has an extra spark pug wire for #5 and does not need it could you help a fellow pelican out.
1985 911 3.2

Thank you
Len

If one plug wire is corroded, the others probably are also (or will be shortly). Rather than replace the one wire you will be better off to order a complete new set from Pelican.

Original wires on an '85? Isn't that almost 30 years? Might need to replace the whole set.

Clean them up with DeOxit. In fact clean all electrical connections with DeOxit.

Lets us know if it works. It should if it is only the connector that has the green oxidation.

It saved me buying a new coil and plug wires.

I do not think the wires are original, They have beru or something like that on them. They look like they are in nice shape just the one is corroded... Juast need one so I can see if it is the wire causing the miss in the engine.
