912 engine serial number help

I'm trying to figure out what year and any info available from the engine serial number. It is 4095218. Thanks in advance. I was told it was from a 69 912.

Here is some help: 912 Registry | VIN Table w/ Year, Engine, Trans Info

Looks like '69 with emissions control is all the 4093xxx + numbers.

FYI, my '69 912 is missing it's 912 engine (it came with a 911E 2.0 transplant).

The Maestro's engine data base suggests a 69 model built in late 68.

Out of curiosity, what is the case casting #; must be very near 118000.
I am trying to add to the Maestro's engine data base.

I have been trying to find the softcopy of the maestro books.... they used to be available and can't find them. Saw a reference to this on Amazon, but could not locate the source.

Precious information that is now hard to find since he passed away...
