It is all related
Torsion Bars, Sway Bars, Bushings, Plates, etc. Everything works together with your driving style & objective. I put my "missing" Special Order factory rear sway bar back to be more stable/balanced in long sweepers(sweet). Stock SC Porsche is usually a pretty nice set-up for a starting point. IMHO Everything in suspension has to balance out(F&R) so there is not succinct answer on this one. M2CW Decide on what you want to do in the car then research what is available to accomplish your goal before spending lots of $$$$. Lots of used torsion bars & used sway bars for sale. Best of Luck.

Well said Dodge Man..
The "factory" has been been there and done that. As DodgeMan said, it is all very very inter-elated, so IMHO, try to go with the factory set up that fits your objectives.
For sure, there are many finely crafted, adjustable, well supported, high performance parts out there, but until you calculate out how you can do a better job than the factory, I would pick matched stuff, like the optional Carrera 20-18 mm anti roll bars my dad got on the car back in 74, or aftermarket stuff with more adjustability and of course, higher price. hth, chris |
