911 SEAT Question: non-heated to heated conversion

Does anyone know if the heated-feature of a set of heated seats from an '89 944 will work without modification in an '87 911 which came from the factory with power, but not heated seats?

I suspect they probably just get their power from the same clip that brings power to the adjustment, but maybe not and perhaps the cars that came with heated seats have a heavy-duty alternator.

Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks,
Ward

Hello

Its the same connector. depending on the year you will find the connector full wired up or have to make the power supely wire into it.

Heatet seats draw around 10 amps per side.
