Question Meister Motors

I'm considering using Motor Meister for an engine rebuild of my 77 911s 2.7 does anyone have any feedback on their quality of work?

Take your money and burn it..You'll get more satisfaction out of it...There are enough ugly threads on MotorMeister to write small novel on...

The archives are replete with discussions about Motor Meister. Don't read them if you have a weak stomach.

Notice that nobody said anything bad? All that's been said is to read the archives. Hmmmmm, interesting.

Read the previous posts. I think the implication of "troll" is that someone related to Motor Meister is checking the board. I may be completely wrong, however.

Thanks

I'll certainly check the archives but it sounds like I got my answer. What is the general opinion on rebuilding a 2.7 vs upgrading to a 3.0?

I'm ignoring the troll statement but this is a great place to exchange information. I appreciate the help from the serious folks.

The people on this board are extraordinarily knowledgeable about their cars. It's a great place to exchange information, ideas and opinions. Motor Meister evokes a wide range of responses, however. It's a really sore subject for some people.

Where are you located?

Sacramento, CA but I could trailer the car anywhere in the state if needed.

In the Sacramento area, there's Frank's Automotive, IPB AutoSport, Schatz & Krum, Salerno Motorsports, among others.

I have to agree- this smells like a troll. I think the first instinct from someone needing an engine rebuilt would be to ask for references to a shop in their area, as opposed to asking about a shop hundreds of miles away.
