FG rear bumper with 'R' exhaust cut outs?
I have seen guys with FG RS rear bumpers with dual exhaust cut outs under the bumperettes like an "R". All the vendors seem to only sell the RS style for the LWB cars with a single exhaust cutout. Any body have a source? Are they doing custom FG work to make these?

I don't think they sell FG parts - just the mufflers?

The trick is to find the bumpers that have the shorter fiberglass bumperettes, then it's easy to trim as needed.

It is very easy to cut the fiberglass for your needs.

Do tell? .... Didn't that happen back in 2004 here on the board? a certain.... backdate thingy?? lets just say its a modular concept, with easy shipping and assembly, I think IKEA copied that one too
 Utilized on Cuan's "Quasi ST" build , search the bird for it.

 I started with a glass SWB bumper, the so called "shorthorn" version. As the wheelwells on SWB cars are further forward than on LWB cars the bumper needs to be shortened about 2". Because fiberglass parts are made by surfers drinking beer, breathing acetone fumes, and smoking weed, I had to cut it into 5 pieces and put it back together to get a good fit. regards, Phil |
