Saving flag mirrors
Hi Guys,
Just picked up these mirrors. Looks like the silvering is defective around the edges and in the middle. Any ideas, advice, experience with this sort of thing? Does it show up in the picture? Thanks . ![]()

Thanks. No hope eh? Maybe I'm not looking in the right places, the price is $100+ each? Am I toast?

Take them to a glass shop and have them cut you some new ones, then remove the original glass from the plastic mount and glue on the new glass. Or better yet, remove the glass first so you know the new glass fits correctly.

+1. I spent a grand total of $15 at my local auto glass shop.
