Mystery spring?
After a complete engine rebuild, a transmission reseal, and a host of other little projects, I find this spring in the bin with the few unused new parts I still have. I have no idea where it came from or what it's for.
Anyone know what this is for? Where it belongs?

Thanks guys, but I'm still stumped.
I have assembled the complete intake, there is one spring on the throttle body, and two more running from the linkage on top of the motor to the underside of the intake manifold. I can't see where this other spring would go, and there are no ends to hook it into anything either.

Ok, what am I missing here? What tensioner are you guys referring to? I don't see anything in the Bentley about a throttle tensioner, and there is no reference to this spring in the exploded view of the throttle body in the PET. Anyone have a picture of this?

Oh, chain tensioners. No, I did not rebuild them. This spring is way lighter than the chain tensioner springs. I can compress it completely between my thumb and finger.
Well, I'm not going to loose sleep over it.
