1965 911 @ Spa vintage race hot lap

This is about the nuttiest 911 driving I've ever seen. I'm semi-comfortable going past the limit at an autocross, but this guy is out of this world. I actually winced going through Eau Rouge and then winced even more at Blanchimont.

How to drive (drift) a Porsche 911 at Spa Francorchamps

Pass on the inside, pass on the outside, pass on the curbing, pass with 90 degrees of oppo dialed in. Ain't care.

In a world where PDK, PSM, ABS, traction control, torque vectoring, adaptive shocks, and the like are becoming commonplace, I think the skill to drive our unique cars this hard will soon vanish. Drive them like you mean it, friends.

Rims are limited to 6" or narrower I think.

Setup isn't the most conservative either.

Giant balls and very relaxed demeanor behind the wheel.

I like how he passes other race prepped 911s like they are parked.

I believe it isn't his personal car and is compensated for driving flat out.

Remember the 911R that averaged 130 MPH for 96 hours at Monza in 1968 which included beyond the normal stops for gas and tires the stop required for changing out the front suspension that was carried in the car as replaceable spares during the timed run. Those drivers must have been pretty nervy also.

In case you don't know, that is Pascal Pandelaar (sp) in a Duel Motorsport 911.
