Use a service like parcel monkey. Ive used them quite a bit and their rates and service have been great.

It looks like a hood is too large. Waiting for a response. Thanks

When it's a larger item such as that you are stuck looking into DHL, FedEx, or the like. The item usually has to through customs and the works on the other end too, so make certain the client is prepared for that. Try finding a friend or business who gets a really nice FedEx discount and ship through them.
The other option is shipping by surface, aka boat. I ship large and heavy pallets in less-than-full-container load spaces (also called LCL shipping) through a company that ships from Wilmington, NC to Liverpool, UK, then by truck to its destination. The rate is always very reasonable, usually takes about 3 weeks to the client's door. Let me know if you want to look into that method.

Thanks for the feedback. Ended up with UPS- about a third the price of Fed-Ex and that's with my Fed-ex account discount.
I'll let you know how it concludes. |
