Cam Shaft
Is there a difference in the cam shaft from a mechanical fuel injection vs carbs. I have a 1972 911T that had MFI and now is converted to carbs just wanted to know if there are any changes to timing or anything else that needs to be done after the switch from MFI to carbs.
Thanks for any help or suggestions |

The MFI cam on the left side has a drive sprocket to run the pump. The carb version of the T motor does not have that. Shouldn't make any difference on the timing of the cams. (technically there is a 1 Deg difference in the specs, not enough to worry about)

Just make sure your rear cam seal is good.
