Door year interchange

I have a 73 targa that I'm slowly working on. Door are not in the best shape.what years fit . I have a 84 convertible sled. Any hope of those working?

I think all doors are basically the same for all air cooled 911s. There are thing that differs like side impact protection, door speakers and possibly attachment points for inner door handles. But it shouldn't be any big differences.

in theory the doors are the same profile from '65 to '94. but, I've found later doors, 78+ don't fit the longnose cars as well as the early doors. to be correct you need non-impact beam doors. mid-year doors work and have only a light beam.

your 84 doors will work though, and you have them.
