Interior Code 87

[North Coast Cab]

Lots of confusion over the interior of my car, 1984 Cabriolet. Leatherette - Grey Beige
Leather - Grey Beige or Champaigne
Code "87" is original interior color, can you help confirm suspicions?

Can you be a little more clear about your question. I can't find any reference to that interior code on the web. My '84 911 brochure lists Grey Beige as a standard color and Champagne as an "extra cost" option.

The Grey Beige is tan and the Champagne is more yellow, almost gold in color. Likewise for the Grey Beige and Champagne carpet colors.

Haab's shows 87 to be "Special Leather"
Material: Leather
Seats, Bolsters & Trim Colors: Champagne
Dashboard,Sills, Rear Shelf Colors: Black
Roofliner Colors (Leatherette): Black
Carpet Colors: Champagne

That sounds pretty accurate. The seats appear to be leather and a goldish color. Carpets much the same. Champaign sounds correct. I'm trying to clean and update and am having a hard time matching mats etc.

Call Lloyd Mats directly and ask them for some sample swatches, then order the mats from our hosts. that's what I did, anyway. I've got a burgundy interior, so I know what you mean about matching colors.
